Purgatory Masters: Tucker’s Fall
Blurb:
Scandalized professor Maggie Cisco returns to her hometown to
lick her wounds and reconsider her future. Her years of personal and
professional research into the BDSM lifestyle has landed her in jail, in
divorce court and now in the headlines of more newspapers than she cares to
count. The worst of all? The entire debacle is being blamed on a bestselling
book she hasn’t even read!
Just when she thinks her only solution is a tell all memoir, a
snowstorm puts her in the path of stunningly handsome, insanely rich and
equally intense, Tucker Lewis.
Tucker remembers Maggie well. They once shared a mind-numbing
kiss at the annual St. Mary’s carnival when her boyfriend wasn’t looking. No
stranger to scandal, he looks past public opinion to the submissive craving a
master’s touch and decides then and there what he wants. He’s going after
Maggie and her heart’s kinkiest desires.
Unfortunately, no amount of money can change the sins of the
past and when they’re certain they know everything there is to know about each
other, one discovers a secret they aren’t prepared for.
Excerpt:
It’s so hard to pick a single
snippet to convey how much I loved writing this book. But I think a snippet
into Maggie and Tucker’s first scene might give you a taste of how I felt as I
wrote their story. J
“Take off your clothes, Maggie and
then lower your body to your knees. I wish to see every inch of you.”
Maggie’s stomach quivered at the tone
of his request. Standing with her back to Tucker left her unsure what to do
next. Part of her wanted to bolt before she lost complete control and the other
part stood rooted to the floor unable to move. He’d made her an offer and she’d
accepted, so why did the sudden image of being way in over her head keep
popping up?
“I’m waiting, sub.” The gruff sound of
his voice might have put her off and ended their scene before it started if she
hadn’t heard the slight hitch in his breath. The sudden knowledge that Tucker
Lewis sat staring at her back just as affected as she, filled her with enough
confidence to keep going.
She reached for the button of her
skirt, lowered the zipper, and slid the soft fabric over her hips and legs
until it pooled on the floor at her feet. With his gaze likely boring into her
backside, she lifted her blouse over her head and tossed it to the end of the
couch. She waited for him to say something, even strained to hear his
breathing, before she continued. Instead the silence thickened and somehow made
it easier for her to go on.
When her bra fell to the ground and her
breasts sprang free, she moaned. Cool air rushed over her elongated and erect
nipples making them ache more than before. Tension coiled in her stomach and
between her thighs. He hadn’t said a word and she was already shaking. The
muscles of her thighs quivered as she contemplated what to do next. He’d said
on her knees but not seeing his reaction was killing her.
“May I turn?” She held her breath.
“No.”
The one word response startled her.
This was it. The next move was completely up to her. She could either comply
with his demands or end it now. Who was she kidding? She’d come this far...
Maggie bent to the floor and as
gracefully as possible got down on her knees. She tried to keep perfectly still
as she waited for Tucker to instruct her further. What she wanted to do was
turn, check to see if he was actually still interested. Maybe he’d changed his
mind when she’ d removed her clothing. She hadn’t exactly kept up with her
exercise schedule.
“Is this hard for you, little one?
Sitting still and waiting for your Dom to tell you what’s next?”
Her Dom? Her stomach quivered at the
thought. This was really happening. “I’m fine,” she answered. What a lie.
A firm hand nudged at her back until
she gave in to the pressure and allowed him to press her head to the floor.
“Are you now?”
